BCC sets two performances for Spring Fling

PUBLISHED: April 17, 2008

Belleville Community Chorus and Belleville Community Band will host their annual Spring Swing Fling, an evening of swing dancing, from 7 to 10 p.m. May 17 at the Van Buren Eagles Lodge, 9961 Beck Road. And in case you can't make that performance, then catch a showing of the Spring Swing Fling Cabaret Concert from 4 to 6 p.m. May 18 at Open Arms Lutheran Church on Belleville Road, right next to the fire station.

Enjoy a mix of ballads, show and swing tunes, performed by the popular local 16 piece Blue Steel Jazz Band and members of the Belleville Community Chorus.

There will be a cash bar, and complimentary snacks and soft drinks available at the May 17 event at the Eagles. Advance tickets may be purchased for $15 per person or $25 per couple, at www.communitybands.net/bluesteel.

Call Bill Wilson at 1-734-975-0081 for more information.

For the May 18 event, there will be complimentary snacks and soft drinks available. Call Bill Wilson at 734-975-0081 or Claudia Roullier at 734/697-8235 for more information.

The Chorus is a program of the Belleville Area Council for the Arts (BACA) and gratefully acknowledges the sponsorship of the Moriarty Family through its generous support of BACA. The generosity of our donors supports our community activities including education, rehearsal, performance, and entertainment. BACA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
